Ways to Remove Grahan Dosh

If a person has 'Grahan Dosh', "Chandra Grahan" in his birth chart i.e. there is a conjunction of Rahu or Ketu planet with Sun or Chandra planet, then according to astrology, such a person should worship Lord Shiva and chant “Mahamrityunjaya Mantra”. Chant and offer water on “Shivalinga”. So that the person will get freedom from the defect of solar eclipse, along with this, the inauspicious effects of solar eclipse can also be eliminated by worshiping the Sun God and offer water in a copper pot to the rising sun and reciting “Aditya Hridaya Stotra”.

Other Remedies for Eclipse Defect

• If there is Surya Grahan Dosha in the horoscope then it is auspicious to chant Gayatri Mantra 108 times at the time of sunrise and also one should offer Arghya to the Sun God while chanting the mantras or names of the Sun God.
• To reduce the ill effects of Moon in your horoscope, it is auspicious to chant Moon mantras like “Om Som Somay Namah(ॐ सोम सोमाय नमः)” or “Om Sri Chandramase Namah(ॐ श्री चन्द्रमसे नमः)” 108 times in front of Shivalinga in the morning on every Monday. • Donating milk and sugar to poor and needy people every Monday will also be beneficial.
