Vastu for Main House Entrance

According to “Vastu Shastra”, the main door of the house should be always in the North, North-East, East, or West directions, this is because these directions are considered auspicious. Avoid as much as having the main door and entrance in the South, South-West, North-West, or South-East directions.

• Use wood not iron or steel to construct the entrance door.
• Avoid placing any fountain or water-centric decoration outside or in-front of the main door.
• Don’t keep a shoe-rack or dustbin outside the entrance.
• Avoid constructing toilet or washroom near the main door.
• Avoid painting black color of main door or front the house area.
• The entrance should be spacious and well height.
• If possible, keep exquisite nameplates and auspicious bandhanwars or torans on the main door.
• Don’t keep to display any animal statues or figurines near the entrance.

Room Shape

As per Vastu, rooms are of the house should be spacious and in square or rectangular shape will be good for any house.

Basic Vastu for Room: Rooms of the house should be in good height, airy, clean bright and proper sunlight should inside the room. Avoid keep dark side in any space of the house.

Furniture

Heavy furniture like bed and cupboard should be keep in the South-West direction and it should be in the Master Room of the house. All furniture is need to be in wooden avoid iron and steel as much as possible. If you are suffering from Rahu or Saturn Mahadasha or Antar Dasha avoid “iron keel” to use in the furniture especially in bed.

Centre of the House

The centre of the house is called “Brahmasthan”, it is also called the “Heart of the House. The centre space should be clean and empty space. It is the main power spot where energy is strongest in the house. The Vastu center of the house is also called a distribution point from where energy spreads to all directions in the house. When you live any new house, everyone should keep in mind.

Water

Keep plants inside the house is good. But if your Mercury is not good and the lord of “Trik Bhav” consult with a good vastu consultant. You can keep a water painting, fountain, aquarium inside the house but we will talk about it later on.

Stairs and Furniture

Heavy furniture like almirah try to keep in the South-West direction. If you are planning to build a duplex house, building stairs in South-West direction is a good idea instead of keep any heave things in that direction.

Mirror Placement

The placement of mirror also should keep in right direction. Don’t keep mirror in bed room Mirror reflects the sleeping couple which can create negative impact in the family life. If there is no solution you have to keep the mirror in the bed room, you can keep cover the mirror in a cloth after use.
