After Navratri, all these regional festivals start and go till Shivaratri. On this day people worship Lord Shiva for blessings. Bada Osha usually falls on the third day of “Panchuk” of Kartik month, the last five days of Oriya month of Kartik. According to the Oriya calendar, this festival is celebrated on Kartik Shukla Chaturdashi.
