Who is Bhanu Bhakta Acharya
Bhanu Bhakta Acharya (भानुभक्त आचार्य) was born on 13 July 1814 in the village of Chundi Ramgha, Tanahun District, Nepal. Acharya set out to translate the Valmiki Ramayana in the Nepali language, which is widely considered to be the first Nepali epic. Because to this, the author, Bhanubhakta Acharya is known as Adikavi means the first poet in Nepal.

Bhanu Jayanti is an observance annually celebrated on the 29th day of the Nepali month of Ashadha Month. But officially it is celebrates on the date of 13 July to commemorate Nepali writer Bhanubhakta Acharya, he translated the epic Valmiki Ramayana from Sanskrit to Nepali language for the first time. Apart from that, He is a great poet and people of Nepal also respect him During the observance, many people add a garland to statues of Bhanubhakta, participate in the parades, and remember his contribution to the Nepali language.

Bhanubhakta Acharya, earlier he received his primary education in Sanskrit at his home by his grandfather after that later for further studies he come to Varanasi. In his lifetime he written many poems, books in his lifetime such as Amarawati Kantipuri Nagari, Ghansi, Badhu Shiksha, Bhakta Mala, Khawmit Yes Girdhari Le, Roj Roj Darshan Paunchhu also called Bholi Kabita, Ma Bhanubhakta, Balaji Dekhyan, Prashnottar Mala to name a few.
