Baba Ramdev Ji has served in many ways to the people. While doing good, he did not see whether the person in front of his, is a Hindu or a Muslim or belongs to any other caste or religion or sect. Baba has given the power to walk to many lame people and has also given eyes to many blind people.
It is believed that whoever goes to Baba's court with devotion, Baba never returns anyone with empty handed. He fulfils all his wishes. This is the reason that when people's wishes started getting fulfilled, their faith in Baba increased even more and in this way Baba Ramdev Ji's birth anniversary also started being celebrated.
It is said that, there are five Peers came from Mecca to test Ramdevji's powers. Ramdevji welcomed them and requested them to have food. The Peers refused and said that they eat only in their personal utensils, which are in Mecca at this time. Ramdevji smiled at this and said to them that look your utensils are coming and when the saints saw, their utensils were coming flying from Mecca. Satisfied with Ramdev's abilities and powers, they bowed to him and that is why Muslims gave him the name of Ram Sa Peer. Impressed by Ramdev's powers, the five Pirs who came to test him decided to stay with him and when the time came, they gave up their lives there. That is why their samadhis are still located near Ramdevji's samadhi.
