What is Remna Ni
Remna Ni means "day of peace" in the Mizo language. Remna ni is a regional holiday of the Mizo people. It is a public holiday in Mizoram that falls around June 30 every year. Remna Ni marks the anniversary of the Mizo Peace Accord signed between Laldenga and the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, which restored peace and harmony in the state.
