About S. Bhagat Singh's Martyrdom Day 2025
Shaheed Bhagat Singh's Martyrdom Day is observed every year on March 23. It commemorates the death of Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar, who were hanged by the British in Lahore on March 23, 1931.
This day is celebrated across India to honor the sacrifices of these revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the independence of India.
Some of the events held on Shahadat Diwas include expert lectures, psychological celebrations and Purvi Diwas. This day is also known as Shaheed Diwas. It reminds us to value and protect freedom and actively contribute to the progress of the nation.
