When Sant Guru Kabir Born?
Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti is celebrated once in a year on the full moon day in the Hindu month Jyeshtha, which is the month of May or June according to the Gregorian calendar. Kabir Jayanti, also known as Kabir Praakat Diwas, is celebrated to commemorate the manifestation of Kabir, a famous poet and mystic saint in India. Worshipers believe that Kabir was born on this day in the year 1398 A.D.

History say, it is believe that he took birth in a muslim parents, while others insist that he himself appeared on a lotus flower in a lake named as Lahartara. Why is there controversy over the death of Sant Kabir?
He lived on earth for more than 120 years. Sant Kabir died in January 1518 in Maghar, Uttar Pradesh. Yet there was a dispute between Hindus and Muslims over whether to cremate or bury his body. He was loved by Muslims and Hindus alike, and upon his death a mausoleum and a samadhi were built by Muslims and Hindus respectively.
